A new beginning
Posted by Mike • Sep 16th, 2008 • Category: So Chic

We are currently scheduling for October and November, for custom projects using the Blogger and Wordpress CMS (Content Management System). Whether you’re looking for a personal, professional or photoblog design, we will work hard to provide you with a visually appealing design that we will all be happy with. As part of the design process, you will be given progress reports. This will include the initial draft (what we call initial mock up), a second draft after revisions are made as per you the client and finally, the final copy. Of course if other steps or revisions are made, we will share those too! Until you’re satisfied, we’re not satisfied.

Prices; Prices will vary, but we promise to work with you no matter what kind of budget you’re on.

Site migration; Vox does not provide any kind of export feature. If we are to migrate your blog from Vox, to say, Wordpress, charges will apply for the time it takes to manually move your entries. Of course if you decide to do the migration yourself, you will not be billed for those additional charges.

Free installation; Free installation is included in every package. This would include setting up the required database for Wordpress, and the installation of the actual theme and additional features such as plugins.

For those of you in a hurry, be sure you check out our shop for our available premades!

  1. I would love an entry. You already know that I am a huge fan as I have bought a couple of your premades and am currently using one of your freebies. Your site is my favorite go to site for blog design. And I will not only put your button on my sidebar, I will dedicate an entire blog entry to your contest. It works out for me since I needed something for NaBloPoMo today anyways!

  2. Consider me entered! I have used Teresa’s premades for a long time now. She’s my favorite designer that I’ve found and is currently designing a custom design for one of my websites. On my personal blog I’m using a freebie that is just too cute for words and to have one customized by her for me would be phenomenal. I’ll be blogging about this contest, be sure of that!

  3. I would love a makeover to take me into summer! While premade templates are gorgeous, it’s been a long time since I’ve been ablet o customise or creat my own :) I’ll try to remember to blog about it tonight!

  4. Oh, I just found you and I love your designs. I like simple blog designs. I use blogger and I am SO in need of a makeover. I don’t know how to do any kind of design so winning this contest would be such a great thing. (I am not above begging and groveling, either. hee hee) Also, my blog has a pretty ugly name so a pretty design helps that a lot! :)

I’ll posting about your contest tonight or tomorrow.

  5. Dang – I can’t enter. Oh well, I can still pimp it.
    Consider it pimped!

GOOD LUCK to all those that enter. You’ll not regret it!

  6. Thanks to the Lovely GnomeAngel who I found via So Chic Designs has thought of me and sent me a message about this so yay I’m excited. All my attempts at making cute wordpress layouts always end up horrid. Considered me entered from my Wordpress blog :)

  7. I would LOVE to be entered into this drawing. I have had my website since 2006 and my design is horrible. The layout is a cute freebie, but I have never been able to customize it to really suite my style.

    Thank you. :)

  8. Oh my gosh how exciting. I’m visiting from Tanna’s and I love what you did with her site. Wonderful! I’m needing someone to help me redesign and incorporate my review site into my main blog. Hoping to win and if I don’t, let’s talk!!

    Laura

  9. I am in need of a design and was thinking of considering your services, but lack the funds to do so right now. I really love your work and free designs as well. I have an Atlanta Braves blog that I’m redoing into more of a girl feel to it than just a Braves blog. I design a little myself, but I haven’t really come up anything that I actually like. I don’t have the funds to get any designing tools that I can really use either, such as vector graphics and such that you use in your designs, and sometimes I have a hard to pulling looks together, as I don’t feel they look right or might need something else. Anyway, I would love to win to this custom design for my Braves blog. Thank you for offering such a great giveaway! :)

  10. i sorely need and would greatly appreciate a makeover!

  11. Honey, have you seeeeen my blog? I lost my sidebar info. I’ve been hacked twice, and I can’t find any of my pages. Plus, I could use a fresh new look. Something chic. Not whimsical. Something sassy. Not boring. I think you can help.

  12. My mother passed away a year and a half ago when I first entered into the world of blogging. I found myself repeating her story over and over when she was first diagnosed with ALS. As much as I wanted everyone to know and very much appreciated their interested – it was hard. Hard to share those bitter details repeatedly with everyone I came in contact with. As you could imagine, folks wanted to know how she was doing. Creating a website turned out to be the best thing we ever did. We could tell stories – true, sad, funny and keep everyone up-to-date who was interested. Mom could post entries, as her disease progressed, I could post them for her. It also turned out to be a tremendous gift to us – both to read her words, live her story again and read the comments from so many friends and family who loved her. About a year after she passed away, I found myself missing blogging, but ready for a way to connect with family and friends in a more positive way. I have really enjoyed blogging again. I get to share adventures with my nieces and nephews, share exciting news and connect once again with loved ones in a such a unique way. I would love a blog makeover because I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing when I start digging into the HTML code. I’ve tried to dibble and dabble around and have only succeeded in doing some very funky things to my site. I love your work and happy to have my “entry” considered.

    Thanks for this offer!

  13. ENTER ME! I’m a huge fan of your designs. I love your classy, chic layouts. I’m in desperate need of a look of my own, and I’m having the HARDEST time finding one. Your designs are the only that come close to my style. A writer and editor, I’m looking for something where readers will feel welcomed, and I’m convinced you can do it. But, being a writer and an editor, I work on that kind of budget. Words are free; themes aren’t. PLEASE PICK ME! And yes, I will tell everyone about your site. :) Thanks for the sweet opportunity. :)

  14. I would love to be entered into your contest! I try to make my own, but I’m not very good at it!

  15. What a great thing to do! I have seen your work around the internet and think it is probably my favorite! Only once have I had a custom blog design several years ago. I’m now at a new domain and would love nothing more than a new look! I’ve looked into getting a new theme for my new home, but so far I haven’t found anything I can afford. I suppose these troublesome times in the economy have got us all down.

Either way I would be tickled pink to be entered into the drawing! I think it’s a wonderful thing you are doing and look forward to seeing the winner’s design that you’ve created. Thanks!

  16. My poor blog is neglected. I used to make cute layouts for it every couple months and then I had a baby. I also switched to Wordpress and haven’t been able to figure it out. I would rather spend my time playing with my little one and let someone much more talented and creative than me make me a fabulous layout! My blog needs a makeover!

  17. Wow what a great giveaway! I would love to win because I love your designs and am not so much a fan of the free Blogger templates. But that’s all I know how to do with my blog :) My web skills are limited (read: nonexistent). I need to outsource this type of thing, but seeing as I got laid off in February and spent my entire severance package travelling in Europe, it’s just not in the cards.

  18. Hi! What a wonderful giveaway mostly because as you can tell from my website title, I’m all about ‘the pretty’ (but not entirely superficial!) and I love the cute, intricate and layered detail that you add to each design that I’ve checked out. Plus, Angie can’t stop singing your praises, and we generally have the same taste so why go against her :P No seriously, I need help with customising it, and making it my own cos I want it to be the platform for my real passions, and my passions aren’t borrowed – they are my own, therefore.. I need all the help I can get with customising it to really show my personality, and just give it that extra pizzazz!

  19. I am a self-taught do-it-yourself blog tinkerer and I would LOVE to have a professional style my blog into prettiness. I use Blogger and I really love all of your designs.

    Thanks!

  20. I would love to be entered into your contest! I love your work and was wanting a So Chic Origianl for my b’day but thanks to hubby wrecking his motorcycle looks like money will go to that (which isn’t fair but I just don’t feel like the fight). So why would I love to win….because my birthday (Dec 9th), wedding anniversary (Dec 18th) and Christmas all fall within 2 weeks of each other and it always seems money goes to Chirstams for the family and my b’day and anniversary just seem to fall into no where land.

    ~Dawn

  21. i have purchased a couple of designs from you in the past, and i absolutely love your work. you are by far my favorite designer. now, though, after both of us have been diagnosed with infertility, we are trying to save our pennies in preparation for in vitro fertilization next spring. spending that much money to have the baby we both want so badly doesn’t leave us much “fun” money for the next year, but we would *love* to have a new design for our family blog as we embark on our new journey.

  22. I think I should be given this awesome makeover…because it would be just one component of my overall “life makeover”. I quit my job a couple of weeks ago to concentrate on writing full-time, and my blog could use a corresponding mood and design boost!

    Thanks!

  23. I don’t really have a good reason why you should pick me except I wanted a change, something’s that’s not done by me. I’ve been kind of sick of designing my own blog – mostly just my writing blog. It’s been a rollarcoaster ride trying to make a decision but finally I settle no a bland white against color theme and just roll with it. anyway, I have enter these contest many times but never win but enter me again. Thank you.

  24. I have seen some of your custom designs and LOVE them. I want to get involved in this ‘blogger’ world and don’t have very good luck in designing myself. I really love your style and would love to be able to show off your beautiful work on my blog.

  25. Pick me, pick me, pick me. I am looking for some different, something bold, something with more color. I love what I have right now, but it was designed when I first started hosting my own Wordpress blog – I’m ready for something different that better expresses my personality.

  26. Enter me! Wait a minute, that sounds wrong. Consider me entered! Hmmm, not much better. I’d like to participate in your contest please. There we go. LOL. I’m fairly new to blogging, and I feel like my blog’s look is ok, but a little plain. It’s just a basic one from blogger. It’s called butterflies, and I’d love, love, love to have something with non-obtrusive butterflies all over the page. I’m just a girly-girl like that I guess. Anyway, thanks for doing this!

  27. Am I allowed to enter twice? I keep a blog for my daycare, but it’s invitation only. I’d be glad to invite you if you’d like to see it. Again, it’s just a basic blogger look, nothing special. It has really cute pictures of the kids I watch and the activities we do. The parents love checking it out from work and seeing what goes on. Thanks again!

  28. Oops on the url above. Fixed it here.

  29. Hey Teresa!! Love the new look! Would love a makeover for my weight loss blog, Making Mommy Hot!! I must admit and sad to say, I haven’t been very dedicated to my weight loss over the past couple of months. Maybe a new look for my blog is just what I need to get motivated! :)

  30. My sister and I work REALLY hard to make our blog awesome. We would really like to have a fresh and fun look to our blog to spotlight all the really awesome features we post!

  31. I would love love love to win this makeover. I have been dying for a blog makeover and was thinking of switching from blogger to wordpress and i cannot decide but everyones blogs look so so nice that it is time for me. I am debuting a stationery line in MAY at the National stationery show and I would love to have an amazing look. THank you and your work is amazing!!!

  32. Holy crap, how awesome would it be if I won this free blog make-over? (The answer: SO AWESOME!)

My blog template is pretty lame and not very user friends and basically it makes my head and heart hurt to just look at it. I’m an awesome person outside of the internet and so my blog should be a truthful representation of how awesome I am, no?

    That’s not true.

Truth is, I’m a huge nerd and the thought of a blog make-over makes me giddy and sweat with anticipation.

  33. I would like to win this makeover simply because i would like a blog who “looks” like me. A blog for me is the place where i write my personal stuff and i’m currently using one of your freebie but it still doesn’t “suit” me like i would like too. I love your art, you have a great web talent design. I’m a student and I just got married money is kinda short so this is the perfect occasion for me to “pimp” my blog with your awesome design. ^_^

  34. Oh loving contests! I would love a blog makeover becauuuuuuuuse… it could be my almost-Christmas present – my next three months salary will be spent saving for my new UK Visa & return flight to Sydney and back. Sounds exciting, but it’s not a holiday. :-(

  35. I would love to win this giveaway. I’m a new blogger and am using a pre-made template. It just doesn’t fit my personality. I would feel more confident sending people to my blog if it looked nicer.

  36. Hi! I’d love to win this because I just finished paying off the loans from my college education and now I’m trying to be careful about how I spend my money. As my blog expands and grows, I’d like a design with more flair and more suited to my personality, but it’s just not in my budget at the moment. Also, I love your work and I have some ideas of what I’d like that are very similar to your style.

  37. ohmygoodness i would love to win a blog makeover! my poor blog has suffered through my playing around with it and colors and pictures and is not nearly as cute and cool as the creations you’ve made for jamie (ohhowlovely.net) and jenn (freeandflawed.com), i love both of their new designs. and ummm what else, basically all your designs rock. that is all.

    pick me! :)

  38. The last time I tried to edit something in No Ordinary Rollercoaster’s template, I made all my posts go invisible.

    NEVER. AGAIN.

  39. I would love a blog makeover! Right now I’m super busy with work, a novel, and nablopomo that I have no time to make a new design. I used to do my own web design, but I have a mac now and my copy of photoshop is for pc. :( It would be super great Christmas gift to me!

  40. While my main blog has a custom design, I’ve been eyeing your photo blogs premades for a few weeks now, as I’m hoping to make a photoblog extension of my blog. I’d LOVE to make it spiffy and pretty from the start, and I can’t just use my design now since my photos are too big. Boo. Plus, it might convince my parents that I definitely NEED that new DSLR I’ve been eyeing ;)

  41. I love your blog designs and am seeking a nice yet simple design as well. I created my blog to speak honestly on behalf of a company for a new computer coming out but I feel as though my blog just doesn’t have enough zest. I really want people to come and visit the site since it’s for a environmentally considerate (aka green) computer but I’m afraid with the boring blog I have now no one will despite my effort and dedication. Thanks so much for this chance :)

  42. I absolutely love the work you did for oh how lovely’s page! It is so fresh, and I am completely tired of the choices that blogger provides. None of them really do a good job of communicating who I am and catch people’s attention. I would love to win a design by So Chic designs because your designs rock!

  43. I held off going elsewhere because I was told that you are the best designer there is. I’ve been saving a little from each meager paycheque to try and afford to have the design of a lifetime. If I win this, I’ll be spending the savings on helping my friend get HER blog established. If I don’t, I’ll keep saving until I can afford this myself. :)

I’ve just separated from my husband after having left America to move to Europe and be with him. I spent five years there feeling stifled and unconfident, and this is the first time in my life that I truly feel empowered. I’m back in the US and loving life, and I keep up with it all on my blog.

I really really want my online journal to reflect who I am as a person, as a woman and as a truly independent being. I am a self-proclaimed Millennium Gypsy, and I hope for the rest of my life to keep my independence and my sense of self. :)

I love your designs, and one way or another, I will have one!! :)

  44. I would totally love a blog makeover!! I am still quite new to the whole blogging world and am getting a feel for how it all works. I use my blog to journal about the everyday memories my family is making or whatever other random thoughts are on my mind that day. I have become obsessed with blogging!!! I love your designs!!!

  45. In the past I always prided myself on designing my website and blog personally. Being blind, it just warmed my heart when I would see people comment on it and marvel at how someone with no color perception could manage something like that. However, I no longer have the time to devote to such endeavors and it’s practically impossible to find someone you could trust with something as delicate as your website’s appearance. (Especially in keeping with web standards.)

Anyway, I would be thrilled to have the privilege of using one of your designs on my blog. You guys do amazing work. :)

  46. I have quietly coveted your designs for some time now, and I can even recall the Scribble Scratch days. I’ve felt “mismatched” with my blog’s design for some time, but have never found the right free theme and can’t afford to invest in a custom design. I’ve always admired your creativity and would be honored to win a free custom design of yours.

Great idea, Teresa!! Even if I don’t win, I think it’s a really clever way to “meet your fans” and do something uniquely nice.

  47. I’d love a custom design to reflect what my blog is all about!

  48. Just look at my site. I need help! And you have the design touch I am looking for… I am into the retro, hip look. PLEASE. Help. Me.

  49. As a working mother of 4 young children, I barely have time to keep my blog updated, let alone create a cute design. My blog is okay, but just a template that I’m sure others use as well – I’d love something unique and just for me!
    ryanomer(at)iwon(dot)com

  50. As a frugal young adult, I work very hard on saving money and teaching my audience clever ways to save money, too. One way I have always saved money during my entire ten years of owning websites is always using free website templates. That’s right, I have never owned a custom website template in all those years of being online. I would like to eventually own a custom design but I can’t see myself paying all that money for one right now (new husband, new house, new dog) on something that is so… wanted but unnecessary. I know this probably isn’t a good reason for why I think I should get the custom design and I know I probably won’t win- but I still wanted to make an honest and hopeful entry.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

  51. I really want a personally designed page, but can’t afford it. I tried to make my own header, so it looks a little better than it did.

  52. Why do I want to win this November Giveaway? I have been blogging actively since 2001 and I have only on two or three occassions where I have even attempted to create my own layout or theme. As times has gone on, and working full time and going to night school in the evenings I have less and less time to work on the appearance of my blog. I hardly even visit my own blog these days as I have been in a rut design wise, besides just to visit the admin panel to write. I have been scouring the internet for a good free wordpess theme. Ones that I have been drawn toward are surprisingly ones designed by you, and have teh sochickdesign, or scribblescratch link in the footers. I have been using your themes on and off for the past little while, but I have still yet to settle on something that feels “right” and find something that is “me” …

I would love to win this giveaway, and even if I don’t I am going to still be looking into the possibility of paying for a custom made theme, somewhere, just still working out finances as i am sure that you hear that all the time from “potential” clinents, I am actually serious about it. What are your rates? I will do some more research on that on my own.

  53. I’m new to the blogging world and don’t want to be stuck using a freebie template that doesn’t really express who I really am. My blog is called Beautiful Disaster – My Tales From Home Daycare. With a blog name like that combined with your creativity, I can’t wait to see what designs you come up with if I win!

  54. I would absolutely LOVE to win a new design – my header is almost 2 years old and I’ve been bravely changing backgrounds by myself every now and then. I just haven’t been able to afford a GREAT re-design.

Thanks for such a great opportunity. You rock.

  55. I am a mom of twins and I have recently returned to work full-time. I would really appreciate a blog makeover. I recently started my WordPress blog and I have limited time to write let alone find an awesome theme and then customize it. I would love a kick-ass redesign! Thanks a bunch for running this contest!

  56. i would really really luv to win the blog makeover..i’ve tried many times to design it by myself but still can’t get really good design.. My website is about fashion and woman..and your designs are so chic design… seems prefect for me..

    hopefully i win..amen ^^

  57. A friend made my header. Another friend made my background. It’s been about 3 years since my last full on, all-over re-design. Maybe it’s time?

    Thanks for this awesome giveaway!

  58. I would love to have a redesign. I have a template from you on my site at the moment. And i somethimes change but it is always one of your designs.
My blog is in dutch en everybody is alway commenting about my blog design. So I hope I win the free desing so I can continue to impress the dutch people with the design.

  59. I would love to win this! I’ve been thinking about getting my very first blog design but didn’t really know where to start looking for one. Jamie speaks very highly of you and your designs and I’m sure the finished product would be awesome. =)

  60. I would love to win a custom blog design. I’m always changing my the templates because I can never find one that I like so much that I want to keep it. Even the one I have now, while I like it a lot, I’ve been thinking of changing it. Just haven’t found something to replace it yet.

Even if I don’t win I’ll have to keep your name in mind. If I ever get the money to buy one.

  61. I think I should win because I’m too lazy and uncreative to have a cute blog. I try to make cute things, but it just doesn’t work out the way I want it to. Hence why I have a pig in wellies on the top of my blog. Pick me!

  62. I would love a new design for the blog! I just tried to do it myself, and failed miserably. It’s dark and dreary, and not at all me! I wanted a new design that would inspire me to get my blog back and up and running on a daily basis! I think it would make a huge difference in my writing to have a place where my words could be fun, and pretty! :-)

    Thanks!

  63. ok i think i deserve to win because when i got my blog first designed i was a baby blogger with a baby blogger design.

now, i feel all confident in my blog and it need a serious upgrade! the design just doesn’t do it for me anymore i know what i want and i know you can help : )

  64. I’d love to be the winner of your giveaway free blog design! I must admit, while I am not entirely useless with HTML and CSS, I am most definitely completely useless with design and graphics and yours are always sooo cute!

  65. I could definitely do with a makeover. My current template is a useless ‘wordpress’ one that has been adapted for blogger. Only I don’t really know how to make it work, and there are buttons that don’t work, and widgets that I can’t add, and all sorts.
It’s a mess, and I am always hoping that everyone subscribes in a reader so they don’t actually have to see it!!

  66. I would love to win one of your designs. I have been wanting to make a change on my blog, but just don’t have the extra money right now.

  67. Hi! I was pointed in this direction by “And So She Blogs” (thanks!) and would love a more useful design on my blog “Into the Mystic”. The one I have is a template out there online and it’s nice but I want something that is really ME! :) I love the work you have done and it just seems to fit so I’m tossing my hat into the ring.

Thanks for offering the contest. That’s really nice of you!

  68. I’ve been bloggin for ever and a day! Although, my blog would say since February of 2007 (with one post from Dec 1969! lmao! I wasn’t even born!). I’ve always wanted to purchase a custom but lack of $ kinda stopped me from doing that. I’ve considered closing it and until recently have decided to keep it and just go with a plain white template. Can you say BORING! I need something new, something lively, something that says, “my son is 18 and I’m FINALLY FREE!!!!” *lol*

    Thank you!

    Good luck to us all!

  69. I would love to have a blog makeover simply because I am tired of the one I have, and I am too lazy to make a new one. Hey, it’s the truth ;)

  70. I’d love a redesign! You should choose me because I’m going to be a rockstar someday and then you’ll be able to say “I designed that!” when they talk about my blog on all of the celebrity gossip sites.

Ok, maybe I won’t end up being a rockstar. But I will send you cookies.

  71. Hello! I have been self-hosting my wordpress blog since March of this year (2008). And not ONCE has it had a unique look all it’s own. :( I don’t know anything about designing a website….

I recently have gotten a new start to life (and started the site all over again!)…and just got engaged! yay! it could be an engagement present! Ha… :)

    Help??

PS: I’m also Mel, one of the doggy owners at Who’s Your Dachshund. :)

  72. Pick me, Pick me, Pick me….

Please…(insert sad childlike adult eyes), I’ve really gotten back into my blog and have visited alot of really cool custom’d out ones..and have been envious. One day…it will happen. :)

  73. Yes Please! I have no design skill whatsoever and it is evident by my horrific blog design. Please help!

  74. I’ve seen your designs on a couple of blogs I check regularly, and I desperately want to be part of the cool club. Please? My blog is too bad-ass to look as boring as it does.

  75. I have been wanting a makeover for a long time. My readership is finally up to where I think a new look would actually make a difference, so this would be a real treat.

  76. I really NEED a cute fun design for my blog! I just started blogging this year and I love it. But my blog revolves around my 30 things to do before 30 list, so I need to get a cute design before I turn 30! I love your designs! They are so hip and chic and cute and classy! Love them!

  77. Husband recently bought me a domain as our 2nd anniversary gift. I tried my hand at getting a neat looking site, but failed. Miserably. Many tears and hair pulling and outright whining from me for weeks. I finally gave up and now my site looks thrown together and sad.
I would love a new blog design! Not only would you be making me happy, but you’d be making Husband happy too. Mostly because it means less whining at him on a daily basis. Sometimes I’m amazed he sticks around.

  78. OMG! I would looooove a custom blog design! I would, I would. I need something more creative than what I have on hand right now. So…please pick me. :)

  79. My blog is about my 7 month old longhair dachshund puppy, Cayman our journey to getting him to be a therapy dog. i am quite proud of my blog so far but want something a bit more polished, more personalized. With over 2000 hits so far, in the short time I have had the blog up and running, I think a customized page is just what we need. We want people to enjoy our page and to get inspired on what therapy dogs do and how they too can get their dog where we are at. Since we are just now seeing doors open up, we hope that a new look will be the perfect way to celebrate! Thanks!

  80. me! me! meee!!! I’ve been DYING to get a new design, but being a college student, things like tuition and rent and bills keep coming up! I would try to design something myself, but the goal is to get people to read, not run away. Yay for new cute designs by people who know what they’re doing!! :)

  81. I would LOVE this! (Of course, who wouldn’t?) I’ve just been browsing around for a cute, original theme, and realizing that I’d probably have to pay someone, and while I KNOW how much time and effort goes into designing themes, and it’s sooo worth it, we just don’t have the cash for things like a new blog design for me! But I came upon your site and I just adore your designs. I would be extremely grateful if I won!

And now my five-year-old really wants to type something so credits to her for my name at the bottom of this,
    Sincerely,
    cathryn

  82. because i so so so need a new fresh fun chic blog! and not to mention it’s my bday :)

  83. Man, I am useless at these, ‘Why should you get this prize’ competitions but I am enntering because I love your designs and I am love free s**t (who doesn’t?)

Srsly, I think this is a super cool thing that you are doing! Congrats on making someone’s day, cause this is the kind of prize that will.

  84. ‘Excitement’ is the understatement of the century.

I need a blog makeover for the following reasons.

    1. I had a deal with someone to do free hosting and free design for my blog. The free hosting was awesome. The design not so much. This dude takes *kitsch* to a whole new level. Seriously. it made me want to barf and cry, all at the same time. Check out a thumbnail of his proposed layout for my blog: http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e305/withlovediamonds/notebook.jpg . Did I feel you shudder?
    2. So one of my friends knocked something together for me. Based on my header. It’s nice, but it’s not what I really, really want. And I am absolutely sure that you could make me something that would totally make me swoon.
    3. And I’ve always heard a change is like a holiday. Being a stay-at-home-mom and a full-time masters’ student is hard work. and i’m not likely to get a holiday anytime soon. So I’m hoping the blog makeover will be a change that is as good as a holiday.
    4. Because I wont be a difficult, fussy, nightmare customer. I’m sooooo easy to please. And am very generous with my praise. I will shower you with compliments, link-love, display your banners on my blog forever.
    5. I will be your biggest fan, and bestest friend. In a totally non-stalkerish way.
6.I would totally give you a free, personal, cyber tarot reading if I won. http://cosmictarotthrills.wordpress.com/about/ Any question(s) answered. Is this bribery? I hope so!

If bribery and convincing doesn’t work, I’m going to try begging.

PLEASE. please. PLEASE. please. Oh pretty please???

  85. I am entering for the contest. I would love to win this blog giveaway. I think that I should win the prize because, I work very hard at promoting my etsy store which my blog is based around. I also help promote other stores with my blog as well. I try whenever possible to add new etsy stores then promote my blog in the forums. I also, post other Etsy members treasury list that they have featured me in and promote again at the forums. So I really work hard at trying to promote my Etsy stores and other Etsy stores and that is why I would like to win this prize. I posted your banner and I am promoting your blog giveaway at my blog. :) Thank you for considering me. I just posted your wonderful free template at my blog that you sent me and I just love it. :) Thank you for all of the great work that you are doing with your blog and all of your wonderful creations.
    Shay

  86. I would actually love to win for a friend if that’s allowed. She is always changing up her blog theme because she can’t ever find one that she truly likes. It would be great for someone to create one for her! thanks.

  87. Enter Me!

I am using a mixture of some of your stuff right now, but coding for wordpress is simply not my forte (as you can sadly see) – and YOUR stuff is my FAVORITE. I would be honored and proud to sport one of your designs on my blog!

    Thanks for offering this!!

  88. I’m entering your giveaway because my blog needs help. I didn’t post for about 18 months because of some personal issues but am trying to revive it. I have no talent but you have plenty for both of us.

    Thank you for the opportunity!

  89. http://expensivemistakescheapthrills.co.za/mistakes-and-thrills/another-all-sorts-post/ <— that’s my second entry!!!!

  90. I am a 20-something freelance writer and newspaper columnist. I spend my days pondering love and relationships in the modern age – the good, the bad and the OMG! – as I try my best to learn the Tango of Love without stepping on too many toads, err, I mean toes. In the end, though, love is like a romantic comedy: Sometimes romantic, almost always hilarious and always way too short. Hugh Grant not included.

I’m trying to find the perfect love/relationships layout to suit my blog. As a writer, my blog is the next best thing to my actual portfolio and I’d like to be able to send editors I work with the link.

And who knows, maybe it would even help me land a job at a magazine….my dream job is to be a magazine columnist. Thanks so much!

  91. I would love a free design from you. Although my site is just a personal blog, it’s also a way to express my feelings. As I am a student, I don’t have enough money to pay for custom designs– and I admire your work very much. If I had the money, I would buy a design from you, but my site needs some help and an extra spark. My site needs a huge makeover, celebrity images keep on clouding the themes, and I would like something different.

  92. hello. i would really appreciate it if you give my blog a whole new look. a 3 column theme perhaps? i just dont do well with codes and stuff. And i so envy blogs that are cute, sophisticated and fast to load. Btw, i really love your themes. I have used some of them in the past and I so think that it is awesome. Please????????? I love you po. haha

  93. I’m a WAHM and looking for more opportunities to do freelancing- writing, consulting etc at home. Looking for the best layout for my blog and still struggling at designing a “perfect” header for it.. would definately appreciate a blog makeover.

  94. Wow! Looks like I got here just in time – coincidence? No, I think perhaps because you’re meant to pick me :)

Ok, seriously, would love for you to custom design my blog – I’m one of India’s premier bloggers – been at it since 2002).
I gave blogging a brake for a bit since mid August this year but plan to start again by Jan – would love for a new design!

Can see there are tons of entries here though, so regardless of whom you pick, God bless,

    Melody

  95. I would love to be entered into your giveaway. I absolutely love your work and would be honored to have a piece done by you. I cant honestly come up with a reason why I deserve it anymore than any of the other entry’s but I do wish to be able to work with you. Thanks for having this giveaway and you truly are talented.

  96. Wow, this is something I am in desperate need of!! I have had the same layout for over a year but I haven’t found anything I really like. I want something different, not something everyone else has. I’ve seen a few decent layouts but it seems like everyone is already using those and I don’t want my site looking like all the others.

Please help me let go of my Christmas theme!!! My readers are very mixed on their opinions…some love that I had it all year and others think it’s been around too long!! I really love your work and I would be so thrilled if you picked me for the makeover. Go check out my blog and you’ll see what I’m talking about!! I really need your help!! I just know that if I go and start making lots of changes that I’m really going to mess things up so that’s another reason I’ve kinda left it as is.

I would be extremely honored to be chosen…thanks so much for having this giveaway!! You have quite a few entries, I don’t know how you would pick from all this wonderful entries. You have a lot of fans!!

  97. Ooh, consider me entered!

Our blog launched on September 1, 08, and since then 15,000 unique visitors, who viewed nearly 28,000 pages, have had to look at its total lack of design! While our site showcases creativity, our talent lies with the written word, and is sadly lacking in any kind of visual impact.

We searched high and low for a Wordpress Theme that would suit our needs, but nothing quite fit. And since we weren’t sure the site would be a success, we hesitated when it came to purchasing a custom design. So we settled for a simple, free theme, and customized it a bit. (I know just enough code to be dangerous!) It was our hope that visitors would be happy with the short romance stories the site provides and overlook its lackluster appearance. So far, that seems to be working. But the knowledge that a custom design will someday be necessary remains.

I found your link on a romance reader site that I visited, and followed it here. And I’m so glad I did! The opportunity to win a free design is amazing. I’d love to see a marriage between your craft and mine. I’m sure my visitors would feel the same way too. And since my visitors include romance authors, who could eventually use your services, I see this being beneficial to us both!

Hoping for the chance to showcase your talent…

  98. I am in TOTAL need of a blog makeover!!! I see cute blogs all the time, but have no idea how to create one myself. I keep thinking I will read up on designing your own template and them come up with the cutest blog ever… yeah right! My second child will be here mid-January, like I will have time for that. Take a look at my blog it has become pretty pathetic in the last month while I have bounced around from template to template and changed my header a gazillion times. :(

    Desperately needing help,
    Janet

  99. I would love a makeover to motivate me to keep up my diet and help me to lose more weight for the new year have a great winter

  100. This would be a dream come true!!!! I’m brand spankin’ new to the world of blogging. Being a single mom with three kids, I don’t have time to learn the code myself. I am so behind the times, and trying to catch up. I’ve started my own photography business and I’m using a free template right now, but would really LOVE something original and unique.

  101. My blog needs a blog makeover in the worst way! I have a design in mind and have not been able to find anything like it. I think the design of the blog is just as important as the content because it’s what the reader sees first. Making a good first impression is so important. Not only would winning this wonderful prize help me make a great first impression on future readers, I think it would also entice authors to take my blog more seriously and agree to contribute via interviews, etc. It would be a perk for you as well because if I won, I certainly would have many links and posts about your site that would follow.

    Thank you for your consideration!

  102. I have searched my heart For the words to say just how much u mean to me You are all of God

  103. I am having a hard time finding where to get in touch with you, So Chic! Please shoot me an email… I am dying to use one of your layouts! Thanks a million. xoxo.
